La Senza conducted the survey amongst 2,000 women and the results have been used in designing new lingerie styles that help women emulate the Kelly Brook look. Whether it’s support bras for larger sizes that still shape and lift, control briefs for clingy clothes or sizzling lace creations designed for the hot pin-up look, the Canadian lingerie house looks set to help women achieve a hot-model look for a mid-price budget.

Recently La Senza experimented with brining out traditional cotton lingerie in visually exciting styles. The result: With nearly 300 lingerie stores worldwide, younger customers are flocking to the cotton bra section, lured by the colorful prints, sexier fit and low price point.

“The styling in our cotton bras is younger, with fun prints and light, sexy padding," says Janice Munroe, vice president of merchandising of bras and panties for La Senza, which is based in Montreal, Canada. The company further boosts interest in cotton bras by offering coordinated panties and sleepwear, as well as seasonal designs for holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Christmas.

“We’ve always had a strong hold on the whole cotton bra market,” Munroe says. “Microfibers and other fabrics come and go, but cotton is still a very strong everyday fabric for bras. Now, though, they’ve become more cleaned up. They’re really sleek, with less embellishment.”
